1 Hello Sauce Today I will talk about how to overcome poverty I will first talk about my own poverty I left home when I was 26 Then I lived alone I lived in many different places in Yongsangu and finally settled in the legit house I will talk about how I lived before I settled in that house.

 I used to be a credit delinquent my account was seized so I could not use any money I was very stupid that I added money into the seized account cuz I thought that was the way to clear off my debt but that was not how I should have done it so I could not use any money.

 so I borrowed money from other place and paid back everything to the bank Finally my seized account got released after 2-3 days That was a rough time I think those who have started hiphop 10 years ago would prob know how this feels like Although there were some really good rappers in Korea, 10 years ago, no one really knew about hiphop those who were successful not only made hiphop music but also made some popular music 10 years ago, many Koreans didn't know much about hiphop The Hongdae underground rappers could not earn much money back then Even if they performed they could not get their paycheck but they were just grateful for the performance hosts buying them beef after a performance Anyway I went through that as well My parents were never really rich so my family was never financially stable so I will talk about how I overcame poverty many people wanted to know about that I don't have anything to hide.

 I'm just gonna share my story with you guys First thought you should have Think everything is your opportunity For example Locco got popular after appearing in Show Me The Money #1 Apparently Locco visited my pizza store 10 years ago he was just fan of me so he wanted to say hi to me all of a sudden he became very popular and began to make a lot of money so I asked him "do you perform a lot? do people listen to your music a lot?" at that time more people were listening to Locco's music than my music okay so in this case, people can respond to Locco's success in 2 ways "Locco got popular in an unfair way.

 Show Me The Money and Mnet shoud also take this blame" I mean some might say that because Locco didn't have anything on his resume before he appeared in Show Me The Money but I still think you should be able to control that thought I never had that thought about Locco Say Locco brought a fire to a cold country I had pride in my own music that I wasn't really jealous of him but I wanted to get more popular and money that I asked him to tell me about Show Me The Money and he did tell me about it so I decided to try the next season Show Me The Money is important in two ways to me Thanks to Show Me The Money, my musical identity got so much bigger second, sooo many people gave hateful remarks to Show Me The Money #1 and #2 but after season 2, people reacted positively to the show Almost everyone didn't like the show though but I decided to try it cuz that seemed like a good opportunity There's a quote that I really like "Nothing to lose, everything to gain" It means everything's a opportunity I talk about this in my song Biggie I reminded myself of the quote when I tried Show Me The Money my close friends and music friends all told me not to do it they were like "you will lose everything if you do that" "what if you lose?" But I considered this as a really good opportunity I really want you guys to think in this way if you want to develop your career and make more money you first need to think everything as an opportunity and get out of the mental poverty This leads to this mindset - gratefulness Everything's an opportunity so you have to be grateful for everything I still sometimes forget to be grateful but right now is your opportunity I get to meet people who are younger than me a lot every time I see them, I get jealous of them cuz if I can go back then I would have worked so much harder I mean every since I started working on my music real hard, I've been making the most out of my time I used to just go to the PC room all the time though everything's an opportunity and if you have this mindset, you will get more opportunities that mindset will make you think what kind of music you should record with a random mic in your room no matter where you work, i hope you consider everything as an opportunity second.

 I always try to stick to this value even if I sometimes break others Think everything can teach you For example say there's a celebrity that you really don't like you can learn so much from that celebrity even if you don't like him or her you can learn from cockroaches too They never fight There's no cockroaches in a place that has ants cuz cockroaches are afraid of ants i asked this to the expert and he/she told me that that's a fact but cockroaches are afraid of every single creature They never fight.

 They have existed a long before we did why? they don't have any enemies yeah you can even learn from cockroaches think about dogs if you're wondering how to make friends, learn from dogs They are really good at expressing.

 That friend will get very happy dogs never hesitate at expressing those sort of things Everyone/everything can be your teacher This is the most important thing This became my mantra you have to know yourself if you want to be treated well, you have to treat them well you have to be valuable to them you have to know yourself I've seen so many arrogant people I mean I used to be very arrogant as well I've been a leader for every single business I run so I've seen many arrogant people There are many people who think their music is awesome but people just don't like it if you know yourself you have potential to grow I mean it's easy to be arrogant but you have to try not to be arrogant you have to know where you're standing and what you gotta fix humans are social animals you can't do anything just by yourself the word "self-made" seems very cool but sorry that's bullXXXX.

 we've received so much help from our parents and mentors in my case I'm very grateful to my employees, friends and co workers many people want to be good at English I was not good at English when I was born.

 I lived in the US for 9 years so that's why my English is good I mean I developed that opportunity by reading books don't say you're self-made some people might not buy my words esp if you're so much younger than me i mean just have some more experience and see how much help you've been getting from others I could have accomplished this much because of the help I got from others I mean I worked hard too so you have to make your own team not saying that you should join a label or team not saying that you should find your partners you will realize how much limited you can get to just by yourself so hope you find people who you can work with 4 Kinds of Thoughts You Should Have As An Artist In Order to Get Out of Poverty pt.

1 the most important thing is working hard given that you work hard, you should work on thinking everything as an opportunity, thinking everything can teach you, knowing yourself, and making a team I could have accomplished this much with the help of my 60-70 coworkers even our youngest manager is so important the more I age, the more I realize that how much grateful I should be of others yeah Thank you guys for working with me yeah so guys I'm not perfect.
