I used to occasionally turn on the broadcast, and one of the most frequently asked questions was how to describe a face.
So I have a recorded drawing, and I also made a team video.
The topic of today's video is how to color a face and other colors relatively easily.
How well you capture the gray and angles is everything in today's video.
I will explain the topic and show you how to do it, so if you focus and watch it, it will definitely help you draw.
Tip number one is blood color.
I will show you the base color first, but I tend to create darkness first, so the color scheme is darker than you think.
Most of today's video is based on my standards, so please refer to it.
[Music] After laying down all the base colors, I will express blood color with the color we use when adding blush.
I usually put it in places where blood color is visible, such as around the eyes or ears.
If you don't know where to put blood color, our skin tends to turn red when it's cold, so if you observe the reddening areas, you'll get a feel for it.
The drawing I'm drawing today is about skin.
Since the area is small, I added blood color to all the visible areas.
If you try to apply blood color well, it can be awkward, so I just pat it on without thinking.
Usually, I add blood color and bolster at this stage.
And after I finish applying blood color, I immediately paint the ears and eyes.
I didn't know this before, but there is a big difference between adding blood color and not adding it.
So if you haven't thought about it, it's really good to try adding it.
I usually make the eye color and the color of the pupil similar, but in this picture, I wanted to emphasize the blood color, so I painted it in red.
Now, I will color the hair.
You can do the hair as you usually do.
However, when the back of the head is covered by the front, you must create a gradation.
That way, you won't have a hard time later.
When coloring the hair, it's good to simply leave the part where the light comes in and create a gradation with a bright color.
It also comes out simply on the skin side to catch the light, but this is ugly later, so I'll do it.
As you can see, it's important to create a difference.
Once the skin and hair are finished, now do the rest.
You can color it.
I forgot this when I was drawing, but you need to add gradient from the direction of the rain to the hoshi and other parts to make it look pretty.
If you're done with the color, now it's time for the second step.
It's time to grab the light angle.
As you can see, it's easier to think of it as simply grabbing the grass before describing.
The difficulty of the drawing varies greatly depending on how you do this before the sketch with color.
This drawing was finished very quickly after folding the oblique angle like this.
It was overwhelmingly faster than other drawings.
I know it was finished quickly, but what should I do? The method is very simple.
Just create a layer and put it in with a sense.
Wait a minute.
What does it mean to have a sense? You might think that you have to kill this flying thing, but I'm sorry.
I think my explanation was lacking.
What does it mean to have a sense? How can I give a sense of an oblique angle? When you draw, do you draw with the awareness that our heads are round? If so, yes, first of all, it's a success.
If you draw with the awareness of the shape of the head, you can give a sense of an oblique angle.
First, you need to determine the position of the light.
I will use direct sunlight, which many people mainly use, and follow the shape to make it round.
You can paint it.
After dividing the light and shadow like this, I will try to capture it with a sense based on the shape.
I will do this several times.
It is good to draw in the opposite direction as well.
Originally, I should have added gradation to the hair, but since I made it in a hurry, I only included what was necessary.
I tend to organize the back of the head with a gradation.
I folded the angle like this to give it a sense, but I should also add it to the skin.
The skin should be placed accurately, unlike the hair.
The shape of the face is really well represented in the figure, so it is good to look at the figure reference.
Even if it is not a figure, it is important to remember the pretty pictures of the back of the head drawn by other artists.
When adding light, it is also important to express the shadow of the hair together.
[Music] And after capturing the light, you must definitely release the round parts like the cheeks.
It is complete.
Now, when you proceed with the drawing, you can increase the density like this.
Now, I will put in light that shows the face well.
Always paint our hair in a round shape.
After painting, do n't forget to make it feel good.
When observing the drawing, you should focus on observing how the light is placed.
That way, I can paint it naturally and feel good.
If the hair is finished, now let's paint the face.
You have to give it to me, but I hope you always do the face according to the shape.
The shape of the face naturally increases as you observe the picture, so I hope you don't be hasty.
If you look at places like Pinterest and Twitter, there are many good pictures, so it would be good to focus on those.
It is more difficult to depict frontal light than other lights, so I think it would be better to give up the desire for frontal light.
When you add light like this, sometimes the eyes that you painted are covered.
In that case, just lightly erase them with a tool like an airbrush.
Then, even if the light comes in, the color will be vivid and a pretty base color will be completed.
In a way, this is a realistic coloring method, but you use this as a frame to increase the density.
It seems that you just need to trim the Four Heavenly Kings.
Be sure to express the shadows created by the hair.
Now you know what I mean.
You can add or build surfaces with a sense of irregular objects like hair, but objects with a clear shape like a face need to be drawn accurately.
So when you practice, it's good to focus on the shape.
You can draw the hair however you want.
Try drawing the hair at a right angle, fail, draw it again, and succeed.
Slowly build up experience later.
I don't think it will collapse, so I hope everyone who watches this video can draw leisurely.
[Music] Back to the video, I think everyone who watched this video now has a feel for how to hold it.
It will be difficult at first, of course, but with a little practice, you can create a method that will make you comfortable throughout your entire drawing life.
I understand that you may feel lazy to practice and not feel the need, but you will realize that it is a great time-saving measure to practice thoroughly and use it in real life rather than wasting time just by continuing to make meaningless brush strokes because you can't describe something.
Anyway, thank you for watching.
I will make a time-lapse video later and upload it separately.
And I think there may be people who are curious about how I held the angles of this painting, so I will show you briefly and end the video.
And if you liked the video, please like it.
If you subscribe, I will take responsibility for improving your drawing skills.
