What is STOP LOSS?
STOP LOSS is a global docu-series from Alpha Traders, dedicated to telling the real stories of people who’ve defied the 9–5 narrative and built extraordinary lives through trading.
This isn’t trading content. It’s human content — A cinematic deep dive into the resilience, rituals, and raw realities behind every trader who made it.
Because trading isn’t just about entry and exit points — It’s about what happens in between.
We created STOP LOSS to challenge the stigma, break the noise, and show that the crypto industry is legitimate — and that real traders, not just bad actors, are shaping its future.
Each episode features a trader with more than just profit to show. These are the stories of mindset over mechanics.
Of risk, loss, growth — and what it takes to stay in the game when the world tells you not to play.

Can I get one big clap in front of the camera? There we go.
So much finesse as well! Oh, the chicks.
Make sure you see the chicks.
Money is good for clout, but if it compromises your privacy and safety then you need to rethink.
What if my daughter was there? I was like, that tiny girl is there playing her toys and what the fuck that… I'm Coach Miranda Miner.
I'm a father.
I’m a full-time trader.
I'm a CEO.
I remember as early as 24 years old, I was a director supporting Microsoft’s launch in the Philippines.
My last gig was a global director for Google.
So I've been in corporate for a little less than two decades.
Corporate has been very generous to me.
Gave me good salary, worked with marquee logos.
I was able to build wealth, good enough for me to have a very comfortable life.
In 2016, I started to trade the Philippine stock market.
I was looking for a way to trade 24/7.
Then I saw crypto.
Okay, and I have a Bitcoin tattoo.
Eventually, I moved all of my stock market funds to crypto.
When I started to trade, I started to build my own system.
Started to earn money, averaged 12% to 18% a month.
Got tired with my boss.
Got tired of corporate.
Fuck corporate.
And voila! I’m a full-time trader with my own company.
I’m an affiliate of OKX.
OKX is a fun family to be with.
They are composed of humans who understand human emotions unlike the market.
And to me it speaks volumes of how they are taking care of their community and the people surrounding them.
As a trader, I use OKX, both the wallet and the centralized exchange.
to guide my community on how to take advantage of Grade A profitable setups and use OKX as a vehicle to earn profits from their trades.
My core trading strategy is trend breakouts because I'm a trend follower.
I use confluence on key level breakouts with Fibonaccis and of course, confluence on moving averages.
I enter on parabolic above 72 on RSI on an RSI 30.
I exit when it's a parabolic burst.
That normally happens when RSI hits 80 on daily timeframe and 80 on a weekly timeframe.
It's not about winning.
It's about protecting your capital.
And not losing your capital.
Who's your favorite guy in the world? Daddy! Of course.
You know, dads are the first love of their daughters.
My daughter is a silver awardee.
She's an honor student.
She sings very well! Let it go.
Let it go! You say hi to your followers.
Hi, followers.
How many followers do you have? I got 10 million followers.
No!Wow you're famous! Where are we going now? You tell them.
The farm! The farm, yes! I love nature.
I have a farm.
Basically, I live in a house beside a farm.
I love the greens, the nature, the fresh air.
Just hits different.
[rooster crowing] You got that? You hear that? Can you tell them this is the farm? This is the farm.
Show them the goats.
The goats are named… In the charts, it's always patience, control, being analytical.
I want to find life out of the charts.
And I find that life on my farm.
It's not just the greens in the candles.
But you can see greens in the farm.
These goats—if they eat, it means it’s a bullish market.
But if they don't, don't trade.
[laughs] Nang Nang, how much is Bitcoin today? You tell me.
I can give a signal to my community.
I have five goats, two ducks, three small chickens.
I have two big aquariums.
This is a 150-gallon aquarium.
This is a white guy.
His name is Yang.
This guy can grow as big as this.
He's a very friendly fish.
[laughs] So Manila can be very hot and humid.
Good-looking women.
Good places to drink.
Some places can get very chaotic.
Traffic—ugh, crazy traffic.
Manila gives you a combination of technology, innovation, and rural passiveness.
Welcome to the Pinoy Market! This is where you buy live fish.
What I'm buying today is tilapia or an African fish.
And it's still alive, man.
Look, it's still moving.
Yeah, so what we're doing now is going to an interview.
We’ll talk about the market, macros, trading, et cetera.
It's a government station.
You know, the government—[laughs]—with a lot of security.
I'm happy that I'm one of those influencers who's been on national TV, radio, and newspapers.
I would say that we are front and center of educating the masses.
And showing use cases to the government and other sectors in the Philippines.
We're still looking for regulatory clarity in the Philippines.
But I would say the government is supportive of allowing technology and innovation to happen.
So crypto is an alternative means for us.
I'm a man of a lot of words.
So this was a good energizer for me, to be honest.
Join me on my next activity for the day.
We're going to talk to a couple of my mentors.
We’re going to talk about how to trade.
Let’s see! My goal is to make myself obsolete.
I think that’s the ultimate goal of any coach.
There are 11 mentors today who are solid in mentoring traders.
In a month, they handle around 12 mentees.
Think about multiplying that to 120 mentees in a month.
I cannot do it myself.
So I’m obviously duplicating myself from a skillset standpoint.
Look at the screen.
Support one.
Support two.
Sup—entry point.
Entry point.
Very good.
You need to remember that, okay? Okay! What is this again? Uh.
.
.
Support line.
Very good.
And this is your.
.
.
? Uh.
.
.
Hmm… [laughs] Resistance line.
Resistance line! All right.
That's it.
Now you say thank you.
Thank you! I think the next generation of traders— it’s actually mandatory for us to educate them because the market is evolving.
In teaching the next generation, is giving me comfort that I made something important in my lifetime.
Kids like Miranda will appreciate more the value of technology and asset.
So when you look for boys in the future, make sure they know how to read resistance lines.
You promise?Yes.
A pinky swear.
Pinky swear.
Very good.
All right.
Let's go.
It was June.
A very hot afternoon.
I found myself walking up to the second floor, opening my room.
And I saw that stranger.
I saw a bundle of money in his pocket.
I shouted, “Who the fuck are you? Who are you?" He pulled up his 29-inch knife.
Then he tried to slash me and I saw a lot of blood on my wrists.
And then I was able to grab his hands.
We were both strong, we fell to the ground.
He got his knife and was able to stab me in the back.
And I immediately tried to recover because I didn’t want him to stab me more.
Then I grabbed the knife—that’s when the fucking guy ran so fast.
In a split second, he was able to find his way out.
I was like, "This guy fucking knows my house.
" I don’t know why.
My daughter will always go in my room and bring her toys there… And for some odd reason, which I’m very thankful about, she was not in my room.
You know, by the way—off camera—these questions are opening wounds again.
I keep burying these memories.
All right.
Let’s take a quick five-minute break.
It’s crazy, man.
You guys are opening these wounds to me.
Man, I see the fucking face again.
I cannot imagine that's happening.
It’s the reason I get emotional because… You don't plan for these things, man.
You don’t… You don’t… Life is short and we’re all given a short time to live.
I cannot forget it in my lifetime.
It is something you don’t forget.
Just because you seeing your death… That’s me an my daughter facing death right? Okay I don’t know if this answer will make sense but but I love life more than charts or trading.
